Orange County -based senior leasing director Giselle Elsahragty brings passion and dedication to serving Link Parks customers. Read on to learn how she supports diverse businesses operating out of our warehouse and flex spaces in Southern California.
What’s your role at Link Parks?
Giselle: I’m a senior leasing director and asset manager on Link Parks’ Leasing team, serving multi-tenant industrial parks across different areas of Orange County. Because of our diverse portfolio of warehouses and flex spaces, I work with a wide range of customers, from industrial manufacturers to entrepreneurs launching their first businesses.
What do you enjoy most about working in commercial real estate?
Giselle: The best part of my job is helping entrepreneurs’ dreams come to life. Whenever I meet a new customer looking to lease space, I always look forward to the magical moment when I first open a suite for them. You see their eyes light up and their imaginations running as they picture their small business thriving in that warehouse or office space. The best feeling is when I drop by later after they’ve signed their lease and see them succeeding in their space. I love my job!
What inspired you to work in industrial real estate in California?
Giselle: I’m originally from Mexico, where I practiced immigration law, and relocated to Southern California about nine years ago. When I arrived in California, I had to start from scratch. I began my academic journey at a community college, where I focused on strengthening my English reading and writing skills while completing paralegal coursework. This foundation in communication and legal principles inspired me to pursue a career in real estate, leading to the successful attainment of my real estate license and an MBA at California State University, Fullerton. California is a great place to live and work, with the perfect balance of city and nature for my kids to enjoy—not to mention a very active commercial real estate market.
Is there a Link Parks customer story that stands out to you?
Giselle : Yes! We have an incredible custom camping van business operating out of one of our Southern California industrial properties that’s owned by a man in his twenties. He was inspired by seeing so many refurbished vans during his childhood visits to national parks, and the idea stuck with him. He started small in one of our flex spaces and now runs a successful larger operation. I was surprised to learn how successful he was at such a young age, and it’s rewarding to know our commercial real estate facilities helped support that growth. My job allows me to meet inspiring people almost every day.
